Climate Policy

Sunset behind powerlines

Over 75% of the world’s annual greenhouse gas emissions come from the production, processing and consumption of energy. Therefore climate policy and energy policy are closely linked. Regulations and policies directed at climate change are having a tremendous impact on the energy sector, just as the energy sector dominates greenhouse gas emissions. This research track investigates and assess the efficacy and efficiency of climate policies and their impacts on the energy sector and the broader economy.
